Poppy

Name: Poppyseed
Pronouns: They/them
Race: Gerudo
Class: Warrior

Appearance:
Poppy is a young teenager with a round, youthful face. Since they've lived primarily in a shaded forest as opposed to a sunny desert, their skin in on the lighter side for a Gerudo but still dark. Their short red hair is fashioned into a messy bob with two long tails in front of their ears. Like most other koroks, Poppy has a Deku leaf mask childishly carved with a supposedly cheerful expression. It's only when they take it off that their dark green eyes, the pointed nose, and genuine smile can be seen.

Poppy is considered tall for a korok but still growing for a Gerudo. They dress in earth tones with simplistic clothing, typically a tunic, shorts, and a very reliable pair of boots. In contrast, however, their equipment is high quality Forest Dweller's weaponry, cycling through a potential cache of a sword, shield, bow, boomerang, and classic korok lead depending on what they have need and room for.

Biography:
Through unknown circumstance, Poppy was abandoned as an infant in a peculiarly remote area of Hyrule and discovered by an inexperienced korok. Uncertain what to do, the korok brought the baby back to the Korok Forest to seek advise from others, inadvertently disrupting any clues to their origin and stranding them. The koroks were left to raise the child on their own despite knowing very little about other races. they were named Poppyseed for their red petals and small size. With the Great Deku Tree's guidance, the good natured creatures stumbled funnily through parenthood, immersing their strange sapling in the magical sanctuary and teaching them the ways of the world as they knew them.

Save for several perilous situations, the baby was well nurtured and grew into a healthy, lively teenager. Feeding off of natural provisions and riding on the wind with a korok leaf, they navigate the forest with ease. Moreover, their added strength and stature has allowed them to act as a dauntless warrior for their kin, protecting them from such fiends as hungry deer and angry rabbits. Relied upon and beloved, Poppy is as important a part of their home as any other korok.

It is the children of the forest's sacred duty to revitalize the land, carrying seeds and spreading life all throughout Hyrule. It is now Poppy's turn to take on this responsibility. For the first time, they have left the Korok Forest and are traveling the world, keen on finding the perfect spot to cultivate their own garden. With so many new people and places to see, the experience has been quite exciting thus far! But Poppy is even more surprised and impressed to find that there are people who can see them as well! Koroks are invisible to everyone but those with a pure heart after all. In fact, Poppy has begun to notice quite a few odd things about the outside world and time can only tell what else they might have come their way.
