Okay, so I'll be the first to admit that I don't draw as much as I used to and when I do it's not always RP related. But I scrounged some my files for some doodles of my current RPboys; they're not all recent or not at all recent. Be warned.

Xel was originally made for another forum, where his arm was a little more refined then it is currently. Also: not me getting left and right confused.



And when trying to fix the left and right issue getting frustrated and never finishing anything.






I'm still looking for a way to draw his face/looks more consistent, but let me woe and whine in adulthood and say that I just do not have it in me to sit down and draw for extended periods of time.

Axel is actually a ver old character that I dusted off and gave an entirely new purpose. I'll see if I can find some old doodles of that and elaborate if any one wants me to. Also, I'm sure I have some art of Ashley lying around, but I can't find it right now. I will add them too when I do.

It's so cool seeing so much Axel art: please DO share even more if you find the older doodles you mentioned! It's very fun seeing how character designs develop over time, what gets held onto and what doesn't etc. (The Ashley stuff too of course! Dapper, colourful man that he is ❤️)

You make faces look so effortless! And braidwork confuses the hell out of me whenever I attempt it on a Gao piece, so seeing it look so cleeeeean in yours makes me envious. I'm especially fond of the pure B+W one, as that cocky/sly expression of his is so endearing. You have such a way with lineart. I believe I've probably said this before, but it's soooo easy to imagine a whole comic in your style. (Sidenote: I love the consistency of your more silly, charming lil chibis and faces throughout - like goofy annotations 😂)

I found some more Axel doodles, so I'll start with those. My traditional sketching is a lot less neat and refined.
Note to self: Left, Axel's missing arm is on the left.
I will never learn to keep left from right and vice versa.

AND WELL, cause I promised... Let me preface this... These make me sorta kinda cringe now. A lot.
But it was around 2007, and I was drawing all of the cool shit, lol.
Here's the bunch of characters Axel used to hang out with. Back then he was called Mech, cause I guess he was a mechanic? As made in Paint.

How do you get the colour blending so perfect, with the light and the shadows? Looks amazing! What program do you use?

Also, love how intricate the prosthetic arm is! You got the ancient Sheikah tech design down to a tee, including the orange and blue contrast, it's obvious the arm is made of Guardian parts. And speaking as someone who finds hairstyles (especially braids) an absolute nightmare to draw, you did a great job with the hair, right down to the loose wisps!

Yeah it's easy to get disheartened and frustrated while drawing, but you have real skill and should definitely keep at it!

Seeing the marker colours on the Axel portrait is really cool! I'm a fan of how you handle them - and would like to see more of that if you ever get the time and energy 👀 It makes me so nostalgic for the character art of older games from baaaack in the daaaaay

AND THE SASS-! THE DRAMA! THE STYLE of all these Ashley drawings!! Every pose and posture detail ooooozes his personality 👏 I love how much of these pages look like something straight out of a fashion catalogue too - so apt. (The snooty looking down his nose through his low-set glasses is perfect too, though of course nothing steals the show like literally BLASTING THROUGH A DOOR - I guffawed.)

Plus art from 2007?!! Maaaan, that must be peak nostalgia for you, looking at it. The fact that you went right in and tackled that whole crew of characters in one image is commendable. And the very last Axel drawing makes me ask so many questions: that pose, that expression, he's surely up to something 👀

First things first: I use an old version of photoshop. Too cheap to update from CS6. I only use the standard rounds in yee olde potatshop and futz to get the blending.
Are there brushes for that? Yes.
Am I stubborn? Also, yes.
Sometimes I futz around in Drawpile or Autodesk's sketchbook.

ANYWAY: I have recently filled another sketchbook and it's been a while since my last doodledump. So here's some doodles from that sketchbook that are relevant and some things I have kept from even the people who have been subjected to my doodledumps since forever.


Lemme introduce Collin in the most Collin way I possibly can:
(incidentally the other two are Yanai and Mellani, you may know them better as Mabel and Ashley's dad and mom)


They used to hunt monsters together.


He's simply my lovely little idiot that does things.








You *know* Ashley strutted that stuff at Yuletide.




What would be the first thing you'd do after regaining an *actual* hand?
Axel knows. (I also hate that I made the same boo-boo and only realized as I am posting this. I am not going to mirror this either, cause I know that won't end well.)


To redeem myself a little, I can sometimes keep my lefts from my rights.


But for now he's got a clawmachine-grabber to deal with. Keep dreaming, tho, Xel.

My goodness the way you manage to inject soooo much personality into EVERY drawing?!! It makes your whole cast so easy to love and so full of life 🥰 (And of course the equally as consistent humour is just as charming 😂❤️ especially that darned lil ball of prickly-sass, Collin!)

I would say that Ashley deserves to star in his own Hyrulean Vogue magazine, but then I got distracted by that sexy backshot of Axel's shoulders 👀 Sorry, Axel, I know I should be appreciating the new arm instead

I just realized I have yet to reply to this thread; a big, fat, shame on me. A thread that makes me very happy and that I will gawk at and there's nothing you can do about it.

Your poses are just the best, you express so much with the body language you draw for each separate character. I am still desperate for that comic one day. I'll wait forever like a scruffy mutt in front of a pizza parlor.

I have a crush on all your dolls. ;n; And I don't deserve you drawing mine all the time too!

That Axel checking out his new arm (haha don't be silly how could that ever be) is probably my favorite of this latest batch if I HAVE to pick, from the posing and his comment my heart to the silly little cheeb being absolutely vulgar Axel I thought better of you what would your gramps think.

Here we are; with me screaming into the void hoping something eventually gives and I am either inevitably swallowed by said void, or - who knows - I might actually stop screaming long enough to finish a drawing for once. I know the latter is far less probable. But I keep a hoard and I am once again reminded to share said hoard.

Thus; May I welcome thee to the latest installment of: I don't know what I am doing; I never have! (I will never not draw these boogers, so y'all are suffering with me)

First up, we got some Keeks. She's basically her dad in miniature and he doesn't quite know if he should be proud or scared of/for her.









If ever I feel a need to draw a pretty lady in a dress Zir is my go to. I just can't not.



Another thing I can't not is put one on Collin if I feel like it, sue me, he looks gorgeous.



And it runs in the family.



And because I fully realize that none of that is in any way finished and truly does not deserve to be called anything other than doodles, I'll make up with another doodle.

Oh hush you, regardless of how finished or not they are, every one of these is OOOZING charm as always 🥰

The family dynamics with Collin are so adorable!!! The ones with Kio especially pull at all my heartstrings 😭❤️ (She sounds and looks like a delightful menace). And all these teases of Saba's Inzir REALLY make me hopeful that she'll show up IC sometime soon!! Looks to me like she handles Collin very well 👏 And I wanna know about their story! How they met, how it went, how it's going - gimme all the tea plz. (Her outfit looks gorgeous too 👀 A lot of tasty layering and accessorising in that earlier drawing.)

 ...She doesn't upstage Collin and Ashley(?) though 👏😂 These guys are ROCKING their dragon fits. They look soooo goood on the male figure.

HELLOOOOO, once again I find myself at a point where I promised something at the start of the week that I then found out is going to be a little more challenging than I thought it was going to be. Most of the very relevant things that I found in my finished sketchbook I have already posted. Go me.

That is not to say there is nothing, there is a lot, but most of it is doodlespaghettis of nekked figures and studies that simply do not deserve to see the light of day ever again. They are going to rot in the drawer of finished sketchbooks only to be discovered after I have long passed and only then will my talent be lamented. Woe, lament, etc.

ANYWAY; I don't just draw my own characters doing silly things, sometimes I attempt a fanart or two;

I may have dropped that I really like the TotK Ganondorf, he's a menacingly big badguy. I also have a digitized painting attempt of this sketch somewhere. I have buried it deep, cause it made me cry several times.


His design is fricken' fab, but I can't for the life of me feel like I do him justice.


My second favourite badguy(s) Weirdo McClown and his BananaBoys Master Kohga and the Yiga Clan.


I cannot take credit for this; came across a far superiour version on pinterest. I forgot to pin it and now I can't find it any more.. ;n;


Bet you can hear the piano.


Bet you can hear the Bwiiwoo. Also I know, technically not a badguy, but I do wish to kick it.




As for more Inzir and Collin, all I'm saying: Inzir and Collin are mucho comfortablès together.


Also, let's make this a tradition and let's end on something that I have attempted to finish. I didn't quite cross the finish line, but there was an honest attempt. Golden star for trying, a for affort, nice try, etc.

That rendering on Zir is gooooooorgeous!!! She looks DIVINE! Green was such a great choice too.

I thoroughly enjoyed going through all the fanart drawings! Ganondorf's saga especially, for reasons. (That trio comp page was BADASS BTW!) I 100% agree that his design is awesome, so it's great to see it getting some love. That profile drawing especially is tassttyyy.

...I don't think I'll ever unsee the Yiga Korok though. Omg. What an absolute treasure and a brilliant idea.

And of course, it was delightful to see Inzir and Collin together again. They look adorably cosy together indeed <3 It's very neat to see the differences between what I'm assuming is business-Zir and comfy-at-home Zir

Hello dear reader, welcome to my TEDtalk wherein my life is a mess, but at least I get to hold a pencil!
I have precious little time left when I am not working or doing stuff that comes with being a humanbean- and as people may have noticed I have not posted in a while again, that is because sometimes I have to just draw with what time I have to keep me able to even call me a humanbean.

I am but an artistic soul trapped in the rat-race of modern society, if at all possible I would sell said soul to the devil to have infinite resources and retreat to draw all day every day. Dear Lucifer, if you're listening, please call me.

It all started with a mad rut that there is only one way out of, drawing Inzir in a funky outfit. I got very lost in getting the Gerudo-anatomy of the game translated into the drawing and admittedly got distracted before I could give her pants.



We'll get back to what distracted me, but enjoy the interim with things I made before I stopped drawing for weeks.

As stated before Lin and Xel have not always been buddies.


And Xel really was a twerp.


He grew up nicely, tho.


Lin on the other hand... still a twerp. There is no stopping me from making him my dress up doll.


It should by now be well established that, when not being a twerp myself, I draw things that enter my head at the most random of times. The thing I already posted in the discord Gallery a fine example.


That is not the only thing I draw that I just had to get out of my head.
Ash would be impressed if he met Yuru on duty, s'all I'm saying.


And this man I just wanted to draw ever since I saw his portrait. I can only hope I did him justice.



And now for the thing that was the reason that first Inzir is still pantless and there has been no writing getting done. Also the obligatory more finished thing I thinged among all the doodles.
This. Those two. It's been a long week. (～￣▽￣)～



There's a lot more I could fiddle with this, but at least it's out of my head now. Posting can resume.

My day for sure improved a whole lot getting to reread this entire thread again. Never stop regaling us with your artses. I am so spoiled-rotten by you, drawing me all this art of my dolls.

I want your design skills, especially when it comes to clothing. You make it look effortless! That Inzir is gorgeous, but her Sheikah tech-inspired dress evenmoreso. I hope you feel like getting back to it some time. *_* The puffy sleeves (the constellations!) with the more sleek Sheikah-whorls bodice is super cool, and I feel harkens back to the shape of Guardians!


I can't with how fresh-faced Collin and Axel look here. There is definitely a very clear distinction in age of them both in your different drawings of them and I love that. The defiant, arrogant look of teen twat Axel is spot on. Hey it might've cost him an arm but at least he mellowed out as an adult. :thumbsup: okayIwillstopstaringnow. I swear I was, uh, appreciating all the doohickeys and parts of the prosthetic, and nothing else. Yes. Definitely that.

I said I was moving on, right? This isn't fair. Thanks, Collin. You silly man. Such a sassy pose, not to mention his expression just finishing me, R.I.P. it off. As always you just knock those out of the park. Another thing about your drawings that I envy! <3

That Lucius scenario must happen. This drawing is so darn cute, and the lines are almost vector-crisp even if you made it as a silly doodle. Lucius being the sparkling superhero we all need but don't deserve, Allura staying as dignified as she can be while perched on someone's shoulder (that little hand of hers!) and Collin being completely over it. Sorry Collin, you get to ride second class.

Yep, Ash. Maybe if you ask nicely he'll let you squeeze that biceps.

Daaaamn I love that Gao! He still has a warm and endearing expression despite being a rugged badass otherwise. Of course Gao is not my character (sob) but I feel you captured his essence with that!

AND THEN there's the piece de resistance, oh me oh my. And you banged this out in just a few evenings, you crazy bint. The shirts are sending me. Perfection. And so is Yuru's sunburn kek. It was wonderful to follow the progress. <3 And I am strangely mesmerized by the umbrella drink and slippers. 

I am sure I am boring you but your drawings of them add so much depth and extra life to your characters and that is something I have so much admiration for and envy of.

Thank you for blessing us with another flood of delightful art, despite the horrors of life and its tumultuous current 😭 I'm so relieved you keep coming back to draw and paint!!! AND then share it with us. Please never stop.

- Inzir's outfit is SO interesting, woah. Such a satisfying silhouette and boobage with a whole puzzlepiece of promising details. I'm a big fan of how you've included so many different LoZ motif references but made it very much yours - and unique. Her alluring sass is absolutely justified.

- Xel being such a brat made me cackle 😂 He really was just a young lad once, eh. ...That's bittersweet. But it makes for some very compelling relationships that are a joy to read and learn more about. (And drawings which make me grin like a goof.)

- Nonetheless, yes, Xel grew up VERY nicely. The little details here are so tasty: the finnicky gestures of his hands, the annoyed ick of his expression, that uncomfortable slant of the shoulder 👏 I love how he wears those pants.

- ...Collin is such a menace. I don't think I've ever forgotten any of his dress-up episodes and I don't think I'll forget this one anytime soon too 😂 He's simply not allowed to look that good. AND HE KNOWS IT. Someone please slap that smug flirt off his face... and then give him a rewarding necklace to complete the look. 

- Of course I am especially in love with this trio piece!!! 🥰 These lines are clean as heck, my god! You communicate so much with such fluid ease. This whole thing oozes character and charm, and makes me crack the biggest grin everytime my eyes move to admire another part of it. Lucius looks truly meme-worthy I can't even-... 😂 incredibly apt.

- .... I did NOT expect THAT!!! ...But then I suppose I should've, given how easily he got caught up in Ciel's web eh. I want this to happen IC but I also fear that moment. Poor Ash. Same.

- GAAAAAAO!!!! IT'S GAAAAAAAAAO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! 😍❤️ And you portrayed him SO WELL!!! All of that coarse and rugged charm that by all means should be intimidating or even off-putting, but nah, nah there's that hesitantly warm smile and bashful awkwardness. Thank you for this beautiful gift and for wanting to draw him to begin with!!! I love it 🥰

- And now there's a coloured piece?! Oh heck, look at all those intertwining limbs! The complexity of this is some really impressive stuff, and delightfully intimate. It goes wonderfully with that very charged look they're exchanging 😂 I ship it.
